The ERT/Ethernet Gateway contains an LED to indicate the status of configured ERT Meters. Refer to the following diagram for the location of the ERT Status LED.
The LED can be in one of four states according to the following table.
State | ERT Meter Condition |
---|---|
OFF | No ERT Meter(s) configured |
ON | ERT Meter(s) configured, all have been successfully read within the last 30 minutes. |
Fast Blink (0.5 second period) | ERT Meter(s) configured, at least one has not been read for 30 minutes. |
Slow Blink (2.0 second period) | ERT Meter(s) configured, at least one has not been read yet but 30 minutes has not passed since initial configuration or reboot. |
The default timeout for ERT Meter reads to set the ERT Status LED to fast blink is 30 minutes and controlled by ERTConnector.ert_update_timeout is documented in Registry Settings. The timeout value can be set on the ERT/Ethernet Gateway with the registry_configuration: RPC request.
